(Oral) Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondentUniversity states that petitioners No.2,3,4 and 5 have since been selected as Security Guards and therefore, the present petition has been rendered infructuous qua them. So far as petitioners No.1 and 6 are concerned, it is stated that they were considered but not found suitable and therefore, not selected.
In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the respondent-University, learned counsel for the petitioners does not press this petition qua petitioners No.2,3,4 and 5. However, he seeks permission to withdraw the present writ petition qua petitioners No.1 and 6 with liberty to challenge their non selection.
In view of the above, the present petition qua petitioners No.2,3,4 and 5 is dismissed as not pressed. So far as petitioners No.1 and 6 are concerned, the present petition is permitted to be withdrawn qua them with liberty as prayed for.
