Learned State counsel refers to para 11 of the status report filed by way of affidavit of Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division Zirakpur, District SAS Nagar, dated 27.09.2025, which reads thus:- "That nevertheless, it is further imperative to submit here that the enquiry in the complaint no.196/PGO/SSP dated 18.03.2025 has already been made complete and the deponent finding that the matter involves breach of terms of compromise effected between the parties and dishonor of cheques issued to respondent no.5 for return of promised amount for which respondent no.5 can pursue his case before Ld. concerned Court and therefore, no police action was necessitated in the matter, vide his report dated 13.06.2025 has made recommendation for filing of said complaint. True translated copy of enquiry report dated 13.06.2025 is annexed herewith as Annexure R5/T for the kind consideration of this Hon'ble Court." 2.
In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of, however, reserving the petitioner with a liberty to avail of alternate remedy that may be available to him, in accordance with law.
