The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking setting aside of order dated 27.02.2025 to the extent respondent has deducted a sum of Rs.6,06,641/- from its dues.

This is second round of litigation. The petitioner on the earlier occasion preferred CWP-31807-2024 seeking direction to respondent to release his payment of Rs.22,46,150/- with respect to light and sound services rendered by him during Lok Sabha Elections-2024. The petition was disposed of vide order dated 26.11.2024 with a direction to respondent to release due amount within three months. The respondent did not comply with aforesaid order and petitioner filed COCP-33472024 which was dismissed as not pressed because respondent in the interregnum passed order dated 27.02.2025 whereby respondent ordered to release Rs.16,39,000/- out of claimed amount. The respondent has released admitted liability. There is dispute with respect to remaining amount. This Court while exercising writ jurisdiction cannot determine disputed rights and liabilities of the parties arising out of contract. This Court can ask respondent to release admitted liability, however, petitioner is supposed to avail alternative remedies with respect to disputed liability.

Disposed of with liberty to avail remedies as permissible by law.
