(Oral) The prayer in the present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for the issuance of appropriate directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to transfer the investigation of the case FIR No.120 dated 18.11.2018 under Sections 420/120-B IPC and Section 13 of the Punjab Prevention of Human Smuggling Act, 2012 registered with Police Station Raja Sansi, District Amritsar Rural to some Senior Police Officer outside District Amritsar for fair and impartial investigation.

None appears on behalf of the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the State while referring to the reply/status report dated 31.08.2022 by way of affidavit of Sarbjit Singh, PPS, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Licensing & Security, Amritsar City on behalf of respondents No.1, 2, 5 and 6, submits that the petitioners are habitual offenders and in Para 3 of the reply, the details of various FIRs SUKHPREET KAUR 2022.08.31 20:52 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

registered against them, have been given. The police party had gone to arrest the petitioners and they had to scale the walls of the premises as the gate was closed. No damage was found to have been caused to the school property etc. In fact, the petitioners themselves had created a scene and had given applications to get arrested Baljit Singh-respondent No.8 so that he would not claim his share in the school from the petitioners and Sukhdev Singh. Therefore, it was recommended to consign the applications to the record.

It appears that the present petition has been filed with a view to pressurize the official respondents not to pursue the various cases registered against the petitioners. It is also an attempt to pressurize respondent No.8Baljit Singh In view of the above, I find no merit in the present petition. The same is, therefore, dismissed.
