Through the instant writ petition, prayer is made for issuance of directions upon the learned Rent Controller-cum-Civil Judge (Jr. Division), Amritsar, to decide the petitioner's execution petition in respect of the order dated 01.03.2024.

On 12.05.2025, this Court had, without issuing formal notice and before passing the asked for directions, called for a report from the learned Rent Controller-cum-Civil Judge (Jr. Division), Amritsar, as to how much time is required to adjudicate the pending execution petition. 3.

In deference to the directions (supra), a report dated 23.05.2025 has been received from the Civil Judge (Sr. Division), Amritsar, through proper channel. It is stated in the report that, all efforts will be made to decide the pending execution petition within six months, excluding vacation period.
