The instant petition has been filed by the petitioners for directions to the respondents No.1 to 3 to protect their life and liberty from the respondents No.4 to 9.

The learned counsel representing the petitioners submits that the petitioners have filed a representation dated 29.04.2026 (Annexure P-4) before the respondent No.2-the Superintendent of Police, Palwal. The learned counsel prays for directions to the respondent No.2 to decide the above mentioned representation within the stipulated time frame. 3.

Notice of motion to the respondents No.1 to 3 only. 4.

Since advance notice has already been served upon the State, Ms. Deepali Verma, Asstt. A.G. Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of VIPIN KUMAR 2026.05.02 11:38 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRWP-5159-2026 respondents No.1 to 3-State. Hence, the service of notice upon the State is hereby dispensed with.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that a direction for disposing of the representation (Annexure P-4) be given to the respondent No.2 and the instant writ petition be disposed of. 6.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the present writ petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.2 to decide the representation of the petitioners (Annexure P-4) by passing a speaking order within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of copy of instant order.

It is further directed that the petitioners shall be provided requisite safety and security to protect their life and liberty, if required. It is however clarified that any observation is not being made by this Court with regard to threat perception to the petitioners or the validity of their marriage. The police authority of District Palwal shall be at liberty to make an independent assessment of the threat perception to the petitioners, and take a decision on the issue of providing adequate security to them.
