This is a writ petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of appropriate writ, order or direction particularly a writ in the nature of Certiorari for quashing the impugned order dated 13.08.2012 (Annexure P-4) vide which the petitioners have been reverted from the post of Head Constable to Constable. 2.
Learned counsel for the State has filed a status report by way of an affidavit of Deepak Gahlawat, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Headquarters, Gurugram, dated 10.10.2023, which is taken on record and a copy of the same has been given to the counsel for the petitioner. Learned State counsel state that as per the affidavit petitioner No.3 has already expired on 16.05.2015; petitioner No.2 has retired from service and petitioner No.1 had been promoted to the rank of Head Constable w.e.f TRIPTI SAINI 2023.10.17 09:23 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh
