In the present writ petition, petitioner has challenged the order dated 10.05.2022 (Annexure P7) issued by respondent No.2 vide which candidates for the post of Ward Attendant were selected despite the fact that the petitioner was higher in merit than the selected candidates. 2.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner fairly submits that he does not want to press for quashing of the order dated 10.05.2022 (Annexure P7). However, he submits that in para No.10 of the reply on merits filed on behalf of respondents No.1 & 2-State, it has been mentioned that process of filling of vacant posts in the BC category from the waiting list, is already under process.
