Mr. Suresh Kumar, Advocate for the petitioner. **** ANUPINDER SINGH GREWAL, J. (ORAL) The petitioner is seeking a direction to the respondents to withdraw the order dated 24.09.2020 (Annexure P-9A). Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner is entitled to the same pay scale as is being paid to respondent No.8. The petitioner has joined the service in the first week of August 1980 and his services were regularized in the year 1988. He also submits that in the tentative seniority list issued by the respondents the petitioner was erroneously ranked junior to respondent No.8 by wrongly recording the date of the petitioner's original appointment as 01.07.1982. He also contends that respondent No.8 has also been given benefits which have not been extended to the petitioner.

CWP-15315-2022 challenge the date of his regularization till date. A perusal of the tentative seniority list indicates that respondent No.8 is also senior to the petitioner. The petitioner is at serial No.103 in the tentative seniority list and respondent No.8 is at serial No.102. He has been ranked junior to respondent No.8 in the tentative seniority list issued in the year 1984 which had also not been challenged. Therefore, this petition preferred in the year 2022 cannot be entertained at this stage.

The petition stands dismissed.
