**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J. (Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the issue with regard to nomination of the petitioner in the cadre of PCS Executive Branch has virtually become infructuous as the petitioner is going to retire on 31.08.2022.

Learned counsel for respondent No.3 submits that the claim of the petitioner with regard to his confirmation with effect from the date the post become available i.e. 01.08.2012 has been rejected by the Departmental Promotion and Recruitment Committee (High Court).
