The petitioner has approached this Court seeking issuance of directions to respondents No.2 to 4 to take action against respondent No.5 in FIR No.212 dated 8.9.2017 registered at Police Station Sangat, District Bathinda under Sections 148, 149, 323 and 452 of Indian Penal Code. 2.

Pursuant to order dated 21.9.2020 passed by this Court, the respondent-State has filed reply by way of affidavit of Sh. Davinder Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Rural), Bathinda, wherein it has been deposed that challan against Veerpal Kaur has been prepared and is presently being checked and would be filed in accordance with provisions of Section 173(8) Cr.P.C. at the earliest.
