They have been served with show-cause notices dated 08.04.2016 issued under Section 7 of the Punjab Village Common Lands (Regulation) Act, 1961, as applicable to the State of Haryana, read with Rule 20 of the 1964 Rules framed thereunder, in an eviction petition filed by the Gram Panchayat of their village. The aggrieved petitioners have laid challenge to those show-cause notices.
In our considered view, the writ petition is pre-mature at this stage as the petitioners have got ample opportunity to raise their pleas in the replies to show-cause notices.
