Manoj Verma v. State Of Haryana
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT
CHANDIGARH CRM-M-29313 of 2020 (O&M) Date of Decision: 23.09.2020 Manoj Verma
...Petitioner
Versus
State of Haryana
...Respondent
CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ARUN MONGA Present :
Mr. Narinder Lucky, Advocate, for the petitioner.
Mr. Bhupender Singh, DAG, Haryana.
(Presence marked through video conference).
ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in a case FIR No.303 dated 06.08.2020, under Section 24 of Immigration Act, 1983 and Sections 370, 384, 406, 420, 506 of IPC (Section 385 IPC added later on) registered at Police Station Pundri, District Kaithal.
Without any change of circumstance, the present petition has been filed once again and no plausible explanation is forthcoming, on a query of the Court, as to how second petition is maintainable, other than a bald offer made by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is willing to settle the matter.
Be that as it may, dismissal of the earlier petition or even the instant one does not preclude the petitioner to settle the matter if he so wishes. Dismissed.
