Tribhuvan Dahiya, J (Oral) The petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to pay the arrears of Fifth Pay Commission from 01.01.1996 to 30.04.1998, amounting to ` 29,622. 2.

Learned State counsel, on instructions, submits that the arrears alongwith interest, amounting to ` 70,700, have been disbursed to the petitioner on 30.07.2024.

In view thereof, the petition has been rendered infructuous and is disposed of as such.
