On due consideration of the matter, I am of the opinion that since the revision petition has been pending before the Commissioner, Jalandhar Division since long, the same needs to be decided at the earliest. Consequently, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to the Commissioner, Jalandhar Division to decide the revision preferred by the petitioners as expeditiously, as possible, preferably within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
