(Oral) Petitioner is seeking quashing of impugned order dated 19.04.2015 (Annexure P-10), by which the claim of the petitioner for correction in the seniority in the School Lecturer Seniority List (Annexure P-6) has been rejected by respondent No.2.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from Director, Secondary Education, Haryana, Panchkula, has informed that the claim of the petitioner for rectification in the seniority has been examined by the department and on the basis of service record of respondent Nos.5 to 9, it has been found that the claim of the petitioner is admissible since the seniority of all the five respondents as on 01.10.2011 is liable to be NARESH KUMAR 2016.02.17 16:49 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

The benefit of seniority has been given by counting the Adhoc service of the respondent(s), whereby respondent No.5 was initially appointed as Lecturer in Chemistry in the year 1995 but in the seniority as on 01.10.2011, his initial appointment has shown w.e.f. 1994 and the department has started the process of rectifying the seniority list. In view of above, the present writ petition, at this stage, is disposed of with the directions to the respondent(s) department to rectify the seniority as per the service record, in accordance with law.
