(ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioner states that this petition had to be filed because the permit granted in favour of the petitioner was not being released on the ground of an interim order, dated 26.04.2013, passed by Hon'ble the Apex Court in SLP (Civil) No. 17238 of 2013 (Mini Bus Operators Association & others v. State of Punjab and others) and other connected matters. Admittedly, the said cases were finally disposed of by Hon'ble the Apex Court on 02.08.2016 and the interim order, dated 26.04.2013, ceased to exist.
