JASWANT SINGH, J (ORAL) The petitioner while working as Executive-I with the Punjab Agro Industries Corporation Ltd, Chandigarh-respondent No.1 attained the age of superannuation on 31.12.2013. She was granted extension for one year commencing from 01.1.2014, however, due to issuance of a charge sheet dated 29.4.2014 (P.1) in respect of causing loss of Rs.39,67,96,125/- by being negligent in performing her duties, her extended period was cut short vide the impugned letter dated 07.5.2014 (P.2).
This Court, vide order dated 28.7.2014 while issuing notice of motion had not granted stay of the impugned order dated 07.5.2014 (P.2).
A reply contesting the claim of the petitioner has been filed.
At the time of hearing, it is apparent that the petitioner has now exceeded the permissible extended period in service i.e for two years till 31.12.2015, and thus by the efflux of time, the
