This is a petition that has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.204 dated 20.12.2018 under Sections 406, 498-A IPC registered at Police Station City-1 Abohar, District Fazilka. 2.
By an order dated 06.06.2019 while issuing notice of motion, this Court had granted interim bail to the petitioner and directed him to join investigation.

Counsel for the petitioner herein would contend that in pursuant to order dated 06.06.2019, petitioner has joined investigation and most of the gold items/dowry articles have been recovered by the IO. It is also contended that mediation process between the parties has failed, while further contending that now he has returned to India and has joined a job at Bangalore.

Mr. Raheja, learned counsel for the complainant files reply in the court today, which is taken on record and opposes the grant of bail by contending that the petitioner herein had been evading process of summoning and with great difficulty, he has put in appearance after intervention of Embassy.

Be that as it may, the investigation in the matter is complete and as per the Investigating Officer, challan qua parents of the petitioner has been presented and challan qua petitioner would be submitted shortly. In such a situation, the instant petition is allowed and the order dated 06.06.2019 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
