This petition has been filed by some of the residents of Rampura Phul, District Bhatinda, for prevention of air and water pollution being caused due to the existence and extension of the factory of respondent No.6 which runs the cold rolling plant.

Considering the issue raised in this petition, it transpires that it essentially relates to the air and water pollution and for redressal of the same, appropriate remedy for the petitioners is to approach either the State Government or the National Green Tribunal, as the case may be. 3.

With the aforesaid liberty, the petition stands disposed of. However, it is observed that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
