(Oral) The petitioners are aggrieved by the order dated 30.10.2012 passed by the Deputy Commissioner, Amritsar-cum-Arbitrator under the National Highways Act, 1956, whereby compensation for their land acquired for widening of the National Highway, as determined by the Land Acquisition Collector, has been upheld without any further enhancement. The grievance of the petitioners is that other land-owners of the same acquisition process have succeeded in getting higher compensation. They also seek a direction to the above-named Arbitrator for enhancement of compensation.

Since no order/instance of enhancement has been brought on record, it would not be possible for this Court to issue the desired direction. However, the petitioners shall be at liberty to submit an application to the Mohinder Kumar Kamboj 2016.08.23 14:57 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh
