*** This Criminal Revision Petition has been filed by petitioners Palka Rani and Prinka for setting aside the order dated 1.3.2018 passed by learned JMIC, Jalandhar.

Aggrieved by the order passed by Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Jalandhar summoning them to face trial in a private complaint, the petitioners have approached this Court directly by way of filing Criminal Revision Petition while they should have approached the Court of Sessions at the first instance under Section 399 Cr.P.C. Accordingly, this petition is disposed of relegating the petitioners to the remedy of approaching the Court of Sessions under Section 399 Cr.P.C. at the first instance.
