By this petition, the petitioner seeks the concession of 'anticipatory bail' under the provisions of Section 438 Cr.P.C. in Complaint no.52 of 2017 (with complaint filing no.Coml/997/17 dated 01.11.2017) titled as Sukhjeet Kaur v. State of Punjab and another, under the provisions of Section 156(3) of the Cr.P.C. pending before the SubDivisional Judicial Magistrate, Moonak. The petitioner having been ordered to be admitted to bail upon surrendering before the trial court within seven days of 11.06.2019, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had surrendered on 12.06.2019 and has been continuously appearing before that court ever since.
Learned State counsel does not deny that the petitioner is regularly appearing before the trial court as and when summoned.
