(Oral) The instant Writ Petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing the respondents to issue a fresh passport to the petitioner with certain changes as sought by the petitioner in his passport. 2.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an accused in case F.I.R. No.0007 dated 12.01.2021, under Section 406 of the Indian Penal Code, registered at Police Station Division-C Police Commissionerate, District Amritsar, wherein the charges against the petitioner have been framed and the trial is still going on. 2.1 Learned counsel for the petitioner prays that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to approach the concerned Court where the trial of F.I.R.
