**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL , J. (ORAL) Through the instant petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 42 dated 17.5.2013, registered under Sections 420, 120-B IPC, Police Station Valtoha, District Tarn Taran. At the outset learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Sahib Singh, submits that after investigation, the FIR in question stands cancelled vide order dated 23.2.2017.

In view of the above, the petition becomes infructuous and is disposed of as such.
