(Oral) CM-17341-CWP-2023 By way of filing the instant application, the applicant/petitioner seeks early hearing of the main petition i.e. CWP-11072-2016, which stands admitted vide order dated 6.2.2017, on the ground that an identical case has already been disposed of by this Court vide judgment dated 16.3.2023 passed in CWP-5648-2017 titled Sukhmander Singh and others Versus State of Punjab and others.

CWP-11072-2016 (O&M) ( 2 ) 2023:PHHC:132923 Learned State counsel has fairly stated that the case of applicant/petitioner would be covered by Sukhmander Singh's case (supra) and that the instant petition may be disposed off accordingly. In view of the aforesaid submissions and in view of the reasons mentioned in the application the same is allowed and the main case i.e. CWP11072-2016, which stands admitted vide order dated 6.2.2017, is preponed and is taken on board today and the same stands disposed of in the same terms as in Sukhmander Singh's case (supra).
