1. The petitioner stands already terminated from service from the year 2014. The said issue is under challenge by the petitioner in LPA No.552 of 2023.

2. In the present petition, the petitioner claims promotion.

3. Since the services of the petitioner already stand dismissed, no claim for promotion can be considered. However, if the above said LPA is allowed and the petitioner is reinstated, the consequential claim regarding other benefits can be revived by the petitioner by filing a fresh writ petition.

4. Present writ petition has become otiose. No orders can be passed in the present petition.
