While the learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn the attention of this Court to a medical certificate dated 29.04.2026 (Annexure P-3), but a perusal thereof does not clearly indicate as to what kind of treatment the petitioner requires as on date. Upon the petitioner surrendering, the Superintendent, Central Jail, Kapurthala shall get him examined immediately by the jail doctor and in case the jail doctor is of the opinion that the petitioner requires some extensive/specialized medical treatment requiring admission in some hospital, the needful shall be done by the Jail Superintendent.
