The petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No.192, dated 10.8.2021, Police Station Sector-17, District Faridabad, under Sections 120-B, 420, 467, 468 and 471 of Indian Penal Code on the ground that he is not named in the FIR and that the complainant has already compromised the matter with co-accused Rahul Singh.

Learned counsel representing respondent No.2 has, however, denied the factum of compromise.

This Court finds that the matter is still at the stage of investigation. Even though the petitioner is not named in the FIR, the investigating agency may PANKAJ KAKKAR 2022.08.23 11:39 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

As such, this Court does not find any justification so as to invoke inherent powers under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for the purpose of quashing of FIR.
