Through the present petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, a direction is sought to be issued to the Trial Court for conducting a fair and impartial trial and to preserve the CCTV footage dated 15.05.2019 of the Court of Shri Rajesh Sharma, Additional District Judge, Chandigarh (UT). A prayer has also been made for conducting an inquiry into the issuance of dasti summons to the witnesses of the petitioner when there was no such order of the Court.
Without going into and commenting on the allegations made in the present petition, this Court has no hesitation in issuing a direction to the Trial Court to ensure that all witnesses in the trial are examined without them being intimidated as that is the basic requirement of a fair and impartial trial.
