The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondent No. 4 to send an appropriate police verification report to respondents No. 2 and 3 with respect to his application seeking issuance of passport. 2.
Mr. Rishu Mahajan, Advocate submits that respondent No. 4 may be directed to send an appropriate police verification report with respect to his passport. The respondent has reported that a court case is pending against him whereas except a petition under Section 125 Cr.P.C., no criminal case is pending against him.

Mr. Aman Dhir, DAG, Punjab, who on advance notice is present in Court, accepts notice and waives service. He submits that petitioner has not correctly disclosed his marital status, thus, adverse police verification report was sent. If he files an application with correct particulars qua his marital status, the competent authority would look into the matter and send fresh police verification report.
