Mr. Gagneshwar Walia, Advocate for the petitioner SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) The jurisdiction of this Court has been invoked under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the impugned order dated 26.09.2025 (Annexure P-8) qua the petitioner whereby his promotion to the post of Sub Divisional Soil Conservation Officer (SDSCO) has been arbitrarily and illegally rejected de hors the provisions of the statutory rules.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present petition with liberty to file fresh with better particulars.

Prayer is accepted.
