The petitioner is a student of Class-IX in respondent No. 3 School. Her date of birth in the school records is at a variance with the date of birth mentioned in the birth certificate and passport etc. She has filled up form for Class-X examination mentioning the date of birth given in the birth certificate and passport etc. but the school authorities are not accepting that form. Thus, a representation dated 04.08.2021 (Annexure P-6) has been submitted before the Central Board of Secondary Education as well as the Principal of the school requesting that the form be accepted as it is, yet no action has been taken.
Notice of motion to respondent Nos. 1 and 2 only. Mr. Naveen Chopra, Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of respondent Nos. 1 and 2 and waive service.
