Mr. Nandan Jindal, Advocate for the petitioner **** SURYA KANT, J. (Oral) (1) The petitioner is a resident of village Burj Gora, Tehsil Dhuri, District Sangrur. He alleges that Sarpanch and Panches of Gram Panchayat of his village, namely, respondents No.6 to 8 are in unauthorized possession of the Gram Panchayat land and there being a conflict of interest, no action is being taken by the Gram Panchayat for removal of such unauthorized encroachments. (2) The petitioner is said to have made a complaint against the private respondents.
(3) Having regard to the nature of relief sought by the petitioner and without expressing any views on the allegations made by him more-so when we have not heard the Gram Panchayat and private respondents at this stage, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the District Development and Panchayat Officer, Sangrur to ascertain the correctness of the petitioner's allegations made in the representation said to have V.VISHAL 2016.02.03 12:55 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document
