The matter is taken up for hearing through video conference due to COVID-19 situation.

The present petition is filed seeking quashing of result dated 3.9.2020 for the post of Clerks under different categories. During the course of arguments, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have represented to the respondents on 7.9.2020 and 8.9.2020 and an application under the Right to Information Act, 2005 was moved on 7.9.2020, but nothing has happened so far.

Learned counsel for the respondents appearing on advance notice submits that the information asked for will be provided as per law and the decision on the representations would be taken expeditiously. In view of the statement made by the respondents, the writ petition is disposed of. Let the information sought be provided as per law within 10 days from today. In case the petitioners after receiving the information want to make supplementary representation(s), the same would be made within three days of the receipt of the information. The representations and in case any supplementary representation(s) if made, be decided within two weeks thereafter. The decision be taken not later than 16 th October, 2020. In case the petitioners are aggrieved of the order passed on the representations, they would be at liberty to avail remedies in accordance with law.
