Through the present petition filed under Article 226/227 of Constitution of India, prayer has been made for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus for directing respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner from the hands of respondents No.4-11 and further directing respondents No.3-6 not to interfere in the life of petitioner at the behest of respondents No.711. 2.

The perusal of record clearly indicates that civil dispute is pending before competent Court of jurisdiction at Malout and the learned Civil Judge vide order (Annexure P-2) dated 03.05.2023 granted stay in the favour of petitioner and the petitioner has also filed a contempt petition for violation of the aforesaid order on the ground that private respondents have tried to take illegal possession regarding which he has moved one representation to respondent No.2 on 17.05.2023.

2023:PHHC:081581 CRWP-5627-2023 -2petitioner has not followed the drill of Section 154(3) and there is no mention with regard to approaching the concerned Police Station at the first instance, only on a refusal thereof by the SHO concerned, would give an occasion to the petitioner to raise his grievance before the respondent No.2.

This Court finds no ground to interfere in the present petition. The apprehension of the petitioner appears to be fanciful and in the light of the above, the present petition is dismissed.
