RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK, J Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the very outset, fairly states that he does not intend to press this writ petition for a writ in the nature of Certiorari, for the time being. He further submits that the petitioner will be satisfied, in case respondent is directed to conclude the pending departmental enquiries against him, within a reasonable time and also pass appropriate order on his pending representation dated 30.9.2012 (Annexure P-19).
Faced with the above, learned counsel for the respondent also fairly states that the matter would be decided expeditiously. In view of the above respective stands taken by learned counsel for the parties, present writ petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondent to make GREESH SAHNI 2015.01.20 15:07 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh
CWP No.1291 of 2014 an endeavour to conclude the pending departmental enquiries against the petitioner and pending departmental action against the petitioner out of pending four charge sheets, at an early date and in any case within a period of four months from today. Respondent is further directed to consider the grievance of the petitioner already submitted by him, vide his representation dated 30.9.2012 (Annexure P-19) at an early date. Respondent shall grant an opportunity of being heard to the petitioner before taking any final decision on his representation Annexure P-19 and shall also be allowed to supplement the same by submitting another comprehensive representation, if he so desires.
Thereafter, respondent shall pass an appropriate order thereon, strictly in accordance with law, but in any case within a period of two months from today. It goes without saying that if after decision on the representation of the petitioner, he is found entitled for any relief, the same shall be immediately granted to the petitioner without any further loss of time. With the abovesaid observations made and directions issued, present writ petition stands disposed of.
