Union Bank of India and another ....Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAMENDRA JAIN Present:- Mr. G.S. Gill, Advocate, for Mr. SPS Sidhu, Advocate, for the petitioner. Mr. Sandesh Arora, Advocate, for respondent No.1. Mr. Pawan Sharda, Sr. DAG, Punjab.
RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Proxy counsel prays for further adjournment for compliance of order dated 24.02.2020, submitting that he could not contact the petitioner as he is not traceable.
Learned counsel for respondent No.1-complainant has strongly opposed the request for adjournment submitting that sentence of the petitioner was suspended temporarily for two months on 06.08.2018 on the assurance of the petitioner that he was ready to pay outstanding amount/settle the account with the respondent-complainant-bank. Thereafter, more than 11⁄2 years have passed, but the petitioner has failed to fulfil his promise/undertaking.
In view of above, instant revision is dismissed for want of prosecution.
