(Oral) By way of filing this revision petition, the petitioner has assailed judgment dated 21st December, 2017 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Rewari whereby his conviction under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 as recorded by learned JMIC, Kosli vide his judgment dated 7.6.2016 has been upheld. During the pendency of this revision petition, the matter was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court where a compromise was also effected. As per settlement dated 5th March, 2018, the petitioner was to give an amount of ` 5 lacs as full and final settlement to the complainant.

Today, Mr. Vivek Lamba, Advocate for the complainant has stated that the entire amount of ` 5 lacs stands received by the complainant and that he has no objection for setting aside of impugned judgment and for acquittal of the petitioner. -2CRR No. 201 of 2018 In view of the aforesaid compromise-settlement effected before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court and bearing in mind the fact that the entire amount of ` 5 lacs, as agreed amongst the parties, has been paid and the complainant has no objection for setting aside of the impugned judgment, the petition is hereby accepted and the impugned judgments dated 21.12.2017 and 7.6.2016 are hereby set aside. Consequently, the petitioner stands acquitted. The petition stands accepted accordingly.
