(ORAL) The contempt petition has been filed for non-compliance of the order dated 13.01.2020, vide which a direction was issued to Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana to ensure that in case complaint dated 27.02.2019 was pending, the same would be disposed of expeditiously, in accordance with law.
Short reply by way of affidavit of Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, dated 15.10.2020 has been filed stating therein that in pursuance to the order, FIR No.262 dated 14.10.2020 under Sections 406, 420, 467, 468, 471, 477-A, 201, 120-B IPC has already been registered at Police Station Div.No.6, Ludhiana.
In view of the above, no further order is required to be passed. Contempt petition is disposed of.
