Versus
Superintending Canal Officer, Ferozepur and others ....Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE HARSH BUNGER Present :
Mr. Rudresh, Advocate for Mr. Param Preet Singh Brar, Advocate for the petitioners.
*** HARSH BUNGER, J. (Oral) 1.
This petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking a writ in the nature of Certiorari for quashing the orders dated 19.05.2023 and 06.10.2023 (Annexures P-1 and P-3 respectively).
2.
A perusal of the order sheets would reveal that the matter has been adjourned repeatedly at the request of learned counsel for the petitioners. Today again, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners prays for an adjournment, which is totally unjustified. 3.
In view of the above, the instant petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
4.
All pending application(s), if any, shall stand closed. 5.
A copy of this order be sent to the petitioners at the address mentioned in the Memo of Parties.
