Through this petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No.06 dated 18.01.2019, registered at Police Station Cantt. Bathinda, District Bathinda, under Section 22 NDPS Act, 1985, Section 52 of the Prisons Act, 1894 and Section 188 IPC. A Coordinate Bench, on 30.09.2020, passed the following order:

Learned State Counsel seeks more time to file reply. At his request, adjourned to 24.11.2020.

In the meantime, petitioner is directed to join investigation within one week from today. Learned State counsel, on instructions from Head Constable Gurpreet Singh, submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is now not required for any further investigation. In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 30.09.2020 granting interim bail to the petitioner, is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. 24.11.2020
