RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for directing respondents no.1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners. It is further prayed to direct respondent No.2 to decide the representations, dated 07.03.2024 and 20.03.2024, Annexure P-1 and P-2 submitted by the petitioners.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners have already filed the representations, Annexures P-1 and P-2 to respondents No.2 for redressal of their grievances which have not been taken into consideration till today.
Notice of motion to respondents no.1 to 3-State only. On asking of the Court, Mr.Tarun Aggarwal, Sr.DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents/State and at the outset submits, on instructions from ASI Sukhwinder Singh, that the present petition is nothing but an abuse of the process of the Court as the MEENU 2024.08.02 10:23 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CRWP-5331-2024 -2petitioners are facing prosecution in FIR No.0050, dated 23.03.2023, under Sections 353, 166 IPC, registered at Police Station Khanna City 2, District Khanna. He submits that the same is under investigation. In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2, i.e. Senior Superintendent of Police, Police District Khanna, District Ludhiana, to take note of the grievances of petitioners, as mentioned in the abovementioned representations, Annexures P-1 and P-2, during investigation and do the needful, if required.
