(Oral) This is the second filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 87, dated 13.02.2018, under Sections 376(1), 506 of IPC and Section 4 of the POCSO Act (Section 6 of the POCO Act, added later on), registered at Police Station Mani Majra, Chandigarh. There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Learned APP, UT Chandigarh, at the outset, on instructions from SI Balkar Singh, has submitted that prosecution evidence stands concluded and the prosecutrix has supported the case of the prosecution in its entirety. He further submits that the trial is going to conclude very shortly. In view of the fact that the trial is nearing completion, this Court is not inclined to extend the concession of regular bail to the petitioner. Petition stands dismissed accordingly.
