***** ARCHANA PURI, J. (Oral) Counsel for the respondent submits that the respondent has no objection, if the transfer application is accepted and the petition under Section 13 of Hindu Marriage Act, is transferred to Rupnagar from Patiala. Heard.

In view of the submission made aforesaid by the counsel for the respondent, it is also pertinent to mention that two children were born from the wedlock of the parties, are presently residing with the applicant/mother. Even, two other cases arising from the matrimonial dispute i.e. petition under Section 125 Cr.P.C. as well as complaint under Section 12 of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, are pending in the courts HIMANSHU VATS 2026.01.12 16:42 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

TA-687-2025 (O&M) at Rupnagar, which are being pursued by the respondent, as disclosed by the counsel for the respondent.

In view of the aforesaid factual situation as well as taking into consideration the submissions made by the counsel for the respondent, the transfer application is allowed and the petition under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act i.e. DMC238/2025, titled 'Pradeep Mohan Pathak v/s Radhika Pathak', filed by the respondent-husband, stands transferred from the Family Court, Patiala to the Court of competent jurisdiction at Rupnagar. The requisite record of the aforesaid case be sent by the Family Court, Patiala, to the District and Sessions Judge, Rupnagar. Learned District and Sessions Judge, Rupnagar, shall assign the said petition to the Family Court, Rupnagar. Even, the parties are directed to appear before the Family Court, Rupnagar, within a period of one month from today onwards.
