The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to consider his request dated 13.04.2024 (Annexure P-9).

Mr. Ashwani Bhardwaj, Advocate, at the outset, submits that grievance of the petitioner would be redressed if respondents are directed to consider his representation/request dated 13.04.2024 (Annexure P-9). 3.

The petitioner has been transferred from Equine Breeding Stud, Hisar to RTS & D Hempur. He is not objecting his transfer and his limited prayer is that he may be transferred to Alwar or Charkhi Dadri or Jaipur. 4.

The petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent to supply copy of order rejecting request of the petitioner, within a week from today. The petitioner is at liberty to avail remedies as permissible by law, against the said order.

CWP-14625-2024 TARSEM LAL VS UNION OF INDIA AND OTHERS Mr. Vishal Thakur, Advocate Ms. Amrita Singh, Central Govt. Counsel for the Union of India Mr. Arjun Sheoran, DAG, Punjab Counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that petitioner was issued passport on 15.01.2014 which expired on 14.01.2024. He has been implicated in FIR No. 189 dated 17.05.2008, under Sections 419, 420, 468, 471 of IPC and Section 12 of Passport Act, registered at Police Station I.G.I. Airport, New Delhi. The said FIR was registered even prior to issuance of passport on 15.01.2014. He has no knowledge about the misuse of his wife's name for obtaining passport.

In her passport, name of her husband was recorded. She obtained decree of divorce and solemnized second marriage. Birkramjit Singh with whom she solemnized second marriage passed away on 24.07.2023.
