Mr.Kunal Mulwani,Advocate for applicants/ respondents 9 and 10 in CM Nos.7260 to 7262/2016 Mr.Amit Shukla,Advocate for the applicants in CM Nos.7201 and 7202/2016 Mr.Jatinderpal Singh,Advocate for applicants/ respondents 11 to 16 in CM No.7798/2016 Mr.Parvesh K.Saini,Advocate for applicants in CM No.7859/2016 Jaswant Singh,J(Oral) Eight petitioners were students of Elementary Teacher Training Diploma (ETT) for the Session November 2013 to November 2015 in different Colleges recognized by State of Punjab. Government of Punjab in November 2015/April 2016 sought to fill up 4500 posts of ETT Teachers in the Education Department,Punjab extending the last date for submission of the applications form by 9.4.2016. Since the examination of the aforesaid two years diploma course in various institutions could not be conducted till April 2016, petitioners by way of RAJINDER PRASHAD JOSHI 2016.07.13 18:14 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CM 7201,7202,7260,7261, 7317, 7736, 7798 and 7859/2016 in/and CWP 11567/2016 present writ petition sought direction for declaration of result of the Diploma Course so as to enable them to compete against the aforesaid advertised posts. Hence the present writ petition. At the time of hearing learned counsel for the petitioners submits that present writ petition has become infructuous as the result of their two years diploma course has since been declared. In view of the statement made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, present writ petition is dismissed as infructuous as also various applications filed by applicants for their impleadment and also for vacation of stay require no further orders and are accordingly disposed of as infructuous.
