Petitioner has prayed for a writ in the nature of mandamus for release of pension and other retrial benefits. Pursuant to order passed by this court on December 12, 2014 affidavit of Dalwinderjit Singh, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Bathinda has been filed. Learned counsel for respondent no. 4 has referred to the affidavit and submits that all retrial benefits have been released to the petitioner. Only grievance of the petitioner is regarding payment of statutory interest. Writ petition is disposed of with a direction that in case any representation is made by the petitioner regarding his entitlement to interest on delayed payment, same shall be considered by the concerned authority expeditiously.
