The petitioner prays for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari to quash the select list prepared by the official respondents for the post of Muaajan.

As per the recruitment notice issued on 11.10.2018, the candidates are required to have the following educational qualification:- "Eighth pass + Education regarding religion and Experience." 3.

The learned counsel representing the petitioner contends that the respondent No.3 does not possess the required education regarding religion. He submits that such certificate regarding the education of religion can only be issued by the Madarsa. The petitioner himself has placed on file a document which certifies that the respondent No.3 has worked as Muaajan in their Mosque for the last ten years without pay. It is evident that the recruitment notice does not require any specific education regarding religion.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, there is no substance in the argument advanced by the learned counsel representing the petitioner. Hence, the present writ petition is dismissed. 6.
