**** RITU BAHRI , J. (Oral) Petitioner is working as SDO (Mech) in Narwana under the control of B.W.S Circle, Kaithal and was promoted to thepost of ASDE (Mech) on 12.07.2012. However, additional charge for the post of Executive Engineer was given to some SDO 's (mech) against vacant posts vide order dated 10.02.2016, who are junior to the petitioner. Thus, the petitioner has been debarred from the additional charge to the post of Executive Engineer being much senior to these SDO's. No enquiry/disciplinary proceedings is pending against the petitioner. Reference has been made to Division Bench judgment of this Court in a case of Shingara Chand and others vs. Punjab Water Supply & Sewerage Board and others, 2000 (4) SLR 164. C.W.P No. 11661 of 2016 -2A detailed representation dated 17.02.2016 and legal notice dated 16.03.2016 (P-2 and P-3) in this regard have been given to the respondents, but no action has been taken till date. Learned counsel for the petitioner states, that at this stage, the petitioner will be satisfied, if directions are issued to respondents to decide the representation/legal notice, referred to above. In view of above, without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No. 1 to decide the representation/legal notice (P-2 and 3) of the petitioner by passing a speaking order, in accordance with Rules/law, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
